Disability Drawing Club

The Disability Drawing Club holds space for people with disabilities, chronic illness, and mental illness. In this casual meetup, we bond, vent, and commiserate about our shared experiences. Simultaneously, it allows us to be unapologetic about our bodies, and broadens representation of disabled people in drawing. This safe space welcomes people who identify as disabled, chronically ill, mentally ill, and their caretakers. The club is centered around drawing prompts that open discussions about our health and wellness!

LAOP’s Community Support Group: Supporting LGBTQIA+ Mental Health

Richstone Family Center is hosting a FREE Community Wellness and Resource Fair on Saturday, May 4 to promote Mental Health Month and LA County’s Take Action LA for Mental Health campaign.
This FREE event will feature workshops for all ages (children and adults) focused on promoting physical and mental health alongside information booths, art activities, zumba, food, and live entertainment. The hope is that attendees will gain a greater awareness of the tools needed to be healthy both physically and emotionally, and knowledge of how to navigate available community resources.
