Brian Waters is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with extensive experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. Holding a Master’s degree in Social Work from the esteemed Wurzweiler School of Social Work, Brian integrates a humanistic, client-centered, and trauma-informed approach into his therapeutic practice. His belief in treating the person, not just their diagnosis, underpins his work with clients, fostering an environment of empathy and support.
Brian has worked with clients managing a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance use disorders, and psychotic disorders. He is also Seeking Safety Certified, specializing in trauma-informed care for those coping with both substance use and trauma. His holistic approach to therapy considers the mind, body, and spirit, ensuring that each treatment plan is uniquely tailored to the needs of the individual.
In addition to his social work expertise, Brian holds a BS in Health Science from Stony Brook University and is a certified personal trainer. His diverse background enables him to bring a comprehensive, wellness-oriented perspective to his work, empowering clients to achieve balance and long-term well-being.
